"With that said, I'm going to put the plan into action tomorrow. Rie, Sagawa, thanks!"
"Wait! Wait a minute!"
"Huh?"
"No, it's not a 'huh'! There's no way we could possibly do that!"
"That's right, Takeru-kun! What we're trying to do will just make enemies!"
"So, reconsider!"
Both of them said it was impossible. At a time like this, I have to say something to reassure them.

"Hey, why are you speaking in broken English?!"

I realized what I just said, and both of them are looking at me even more suspiciously. Maybe that wasn't the best choice of words.
"Hey, Sakurako-sama and Kanna-san, stop Takeru-kun!"
"D...D..."
"D?"
"Don't worry, don't worry. Everything's fine."
"You both said it at the same time!"
"That's even more suspicious! It's like you're not even trying to hide it!"
Sakurako and Kisaragi are looking at me helplessly now, unsure how to handle this.
By the way, Sakurako and Kisaragi do agree with this plan. They're just as on board as I am, though they're not showing it as openly.
"Well, well, that's enough joking around. But Takeru-kun's plan? Sakurako and I are on board."
"Hmm. We need to do something to shake up those complacent Seekers, or we won't be ready for the Talking Monster's attack."
"B-but..."
"But, what if we make one mistake? Before we can stop the Talking Monsters, Takeru-kun might get attacked by all the Seekers in the world!"
Sagawa's concern seems genuine now.
"Who said you were smart?"
"I'm serious!"
Sagawa's voice is full of worry for me, but it's actually kind of reassuring.
"It's fine. My magic has something called 'barrier magic.' If I activate it, I can prevent intruders of a certain level, like Seekers, from getting in."
"What's that?! Takeru-kun, tell me more about magic!"
Rie-tan's eyes are practically sparkling now. She's always curious about magic.
"Of course. I've actually been meaning to teach you both about magic."
"Really!? Awesome!"
"Huh? What do you mean?"
Rie-tan's overjoyed, but Sagawa looks a little confused by the whole idea.
"My magic has something called 'enhancement magic.' By using it on both of you, I can raise your current abilities even further."
"What?! Even more powerful?!"
"S-so that's possible with magic...?"
"Yeah. But here's the thing—things aren't as simple as they sound."
"What?"
"When I use enhancement magic, you'll gain power beyond your natural abilities, but if you can't control it, it'll be pretty much useless."
"So, basically, if we can't handle the power, we're just going to make things worse?"
"Exactly. If you want the benefits, you need to get used to it first. Otherwise, it'll be more of a hindrance than anything."
"I... I think I get it now..."
"Either way, I need your cooperation. To be honest, I'm hoping we can use this opportunity to make our clan—the 'Hero Brigade'—known to the world."
"W-what?! You were thinking about that all along?!"
"Of course. Did you think I was just planning to take a nap?"
"Wait, so, are you saying... you're going to do this as Takeru──"
"Hmm, I've thought about it a lot. It looks like we'll be streaming with 'Omega' for now... but instead of the 'Omega-channel,' I'm thinking of streaming it on the Hero Brigade channel."
"What? What do you mean..."
"Yeah. Omega will appear on the Hero Brigade channel as a 'guest.'"
"Hold on, isn't that like the 'Hero Brigade' is challenging them?!"
As expected, Sagawa caught on quickly.
"Well, you see, I want to make 'Hero Brigade' known to the world because of this. Of course, I'm saying this after confirming both of your abilities, right?"
"Really?"
"Yeah?"
"Are you sure... even my strength is good enough?"
Sagawa sounds a little nervous now, but I can tell she's starting to believe in herself.
"Of course. I think even Sagawa's current strength would be somewhat effective. Yeah... you're at the upper level of 'C-class' right now."
"Huh, serious? Me, who just debuted in F-Class, am at the upper level of C-Class...!?"
"And with my enhancement magic added to that, if you can control the enhanced abilities and skills, you could even hold your own in the upper ranks of B-Class. If we keep exploring dungeons, I think you'll hit that level soon—without magic."
"R... really?"
Sagawa seems to let out a relieved breath.
"I'll do it."

Sagawa speaks with determination now, a big contrast to her earlier hesitation.
"I... I will too!"
"Rie-tan?"
"I will too! If Takeru-kun believes in our abilities this much, then I believe in his words. And I'm aiming to be the world's best Seeker... It's just that my plan got a little ahead of schedule!"
Rie-tan also speaks with the same determination.
"Thank you... both of you."
