Volume 2 Chapter 63 The Magic Item of Spatial Distortion
"I don't really know what Four Pillars is, but shall we... make our exit?"
Takeru strolled toward Magdala like he had all the time in the world.
The crowd murmured.
"It's over, huh?"
"Yeah, I mean, Omega's strong, but that 'Sainte Lumière' thing? What even is that?"
"No clue, but it sure is flashy."
"Absolutely."
"Absolutely."
They were convinced. Takeru had won.
A blinding light from Omega-sama erased Magdala's clone.

: So, that was magic, right?
: Yep. Even skill junkie "Just a Bit Strong" said, "It's not a skill. It's magic."
: So, it's Light Attribute magic?
: Yeah. Magdala called it "Advanced Darkness Attribute Magic," and we all know from anime logic that Light counters Darkness.
: Too bad. This is the real world~
: Hey! A fake "Just a Bit Strong" just showed up, lol.
: Also, Omega called it "Light Attribute Special Grade Magic."
: So "Light Attribute" is the element, and "Special Grade Magic" is the rank?
: Which means Omega's "Light Attribute Divine Grade Magic" is higher than Magdala's "Advanced Darkness Attribute Magic."
: Wait, why are there so many "Just a Bit Strong" clones now?!
: And why are the fakes making solid points?
: Yeah, but it's all ruined because they're fake.
: Haha, totally wrecked.
: Exactly.
: Exactly. Saintly.

The stream chat was fully convinced of Omega's victory. Also, for some reason, "Just a Bit Strong" imposters were multiplying like rabbits.
But in this Takeru-wins atmosphere... Magdala didn't panic. Instead, she looked at Takeru, calm as ever.
'...I see. I suppose this is it.'
"Well, that's how it is. After this, we're planning to clear the dungeon to the 100th floor. And honestly? Having a top-tier like you just standing around as a Talking Monster messes with my party's level-ups."
'Ehehe... I see. Honestly, I'm surprised. No one has ever looked down on me like this before.'
"Is that so? Good for you. A new experience before the end."
'Yes. A bit bittersweet, though...'
"Don't worry. I'll make sure you don't feel any pain."
'Oh? How kind of you.'
"Well, at least this much."
'Is that so? But I'm... a woman who doesn't give up easily, you know?'
"A woman who doesn't give up? Yeah, no market for that."
'The ones who appreciate my charm will shower me with love beyond what's needed.'
"Oh?"
'So, with that in mind... I'll resist just a little at the end.'
"Alright, consider it a farewell gift. I'll take it head-on."
'Oh dear, I might fall in love. Well then...'
Takeru blinked.
Magdala pulled something out.
A small, round object.
'It's bittersweet, but... let's meet again. Warp Distortion!'
"What?!"
With a press of a button, a mist-like energy burst forth. A rift in space opened beside her.
"Th-the space... distortion?! Why does a Talking Monster have—"
'I'm afraid I must decline to answer that question. Until we meet again, Omega.'
With those parting words, Magdala stepped into the rift and—
"Eh!? M-Magdala just vanished!"
"No way!"
"What the hell was that sphere?!"
"A magic item? No way—I've never even heard of one that does that."
While the crowd was busy theorizing, Takeru stood there, staring at the empty space Magdala had disappeared into.
"Warp Distortion... already made into a magic item? This is bad."
If Empress Mare's group had developed a Warp Distortion magic item, this wasn't just some one-time escape trick. It could change everything.
"...Sakurako-tan probably noticed too. But if she hasn't called yet... that means this thing is serious."
After regaining his composure, Takeru turned to the group.
"Alright. Enough standing around. We stop the Stampede and keep pushing forward."
The others snapped out of their shock and got moving.

Two hours later...
Takeru and his party cleared the Ryukyu dungeon.
