I-I have to relieve Rinne-chan of the 'burden' of 'making me use the elixir' somehow... Y-yeah!
"R-Rinne-chan, it's okay! Until now, I haven't had the chance to use this elixir... so it's actually perfect!"

"A-and besides! I have a stock of elixirs!"
I said that to reassure her.
Phew. Rinne-chan was probably panicking because she thought that was my only elixir.
But once she realized I had more—

Suddenly, Rinne-chan—and everyone else—froze.
Huh?
Did... something change?
"C-cough! U-umm... Omega-san?"
"Y-yes, what is it... Ayumi-san?"
Ayumi-san stepped forward, her expression unreadable.
I was sweating.
"...Just to confirm..."
"Y-yeah?"
"You have a stock of elixirs?"
"Huh? Ah, yeah. Around... ten..."
"T-TEN—!!!"
The entire room went white.
"E-E-Elixirs... ten of them!?"
"Uh... yeah?"
The color drained from their faces like they'd just seen a ghost.
"Huh? W-wait... Wasn't the elixir just a legendary item...?"
Tomochi-san muttered, her pupils dilating.
"No, you're not wrong, Tomochi!"
"Yeah! So please—come back to us!!!"
Rinna-chan grabbed her shoulders, shaking her. Meanwhile, behind them, Rinne-chan desperately chanted, "Return to reality, return to reality...!"
I glanced over at the Valkyries—
"Wait... Ten elixirs...?" Nagisa-san whispered. "I—I heard that right, didn't I? Omega-sama said that, right? I'M NOT HALLUCINATING, RIGHT?!"
"You're not wrong!"
"Pull yourself together, Nagisa!!!"
"Oh no! She's losing her soul! Soul-soul-come back, soul-soul-come back..."
Nagisa-san was trembling, staring into the void like she was having an out-of-body experience.
Beside her, Ayumi-san and Yuki-san were desperately trying to anchor her to reality, while Just a bit-san stood behind them, solemnly patting her back and chanting, "Soul-soul-come back."
Yeah.
Absolute chaos.

A minute or two later...
"Y-you guys calm now?"
Everyone let out an exhausted sigh.
"Haahh... I feel so tired..."
"M-me too..."
Tomochi-san and Nagisa-san slumped forward.
And then—
"Ah, right! Sorry, actually—!"
Tomochi-san suddenly straightened up, looking serious.
She quickly explained how they ended up here.

"A... Talking Monster?"
"Y-yeah! We were just in front of the Floor Boss Room on the 29th floor of the Middle Floors..."
She swallowed hard before continuing.
"Our clan members are fighting there right now. Ochi-kun and Yurihime are stalling against the Talking Monster until reinforcements arrive!"
"W-we ran here to get help from the guild and bring Rinne to a hospital... But on the way, we got surrounded by a pack of big mongooses..."
As they spoke, I could see the sheer anxiety written all over their faces.
But I understood what they were trying to say.
"Got it. Leave it to me."
"""...Omega-sama!"""
"Alright, then... I'm heading out for a bit."
I casually addressed the Valkyries and Just a bit-san.
And then—
"Ah, but! That Talking Monster... 'Prototype 100 Modified'—it's really strong! We should go together!"
Tomochi-san, Rinna-chan, and Rinne-chan all insisted on coming along.
But—
"Ah, it's fine, it's fine. I'll handle it solo."
"B-but—!"
"Besides..."
"?"
"I'll be going super fast, so you probably won't be able to keep up."
"Huh?"
"Well then—I'm off."
Hmph—
"Eh!? W-what!? He vanished!!"
"No way! I—I think he just moved really fast... But I couldn't even see him!"
"He just... disappeared. Right in front of us."
