Randy couldn't possibly handle such a delicate skill... so they settled on a makeshift method of digging while setting the copper pipes.
With Ellie's magic, even hard bedrock and complex layers are no problem.
The ability to dig straight ahead is a big factor too.
So Ellie digs.
Randy shoves in the copper pipe he made.
Ellie continues digging while keeping the copper pipe pressed against the ground.
When the head of the copper pipe is about to get buried, Randy adds more copper pipe.
This task is simple, so even with Randy's low magical power... it's still just a simple task.

They add more every 5 meters, but since they can't see underground, it just looks like the copper pipes are being sucked into the hole.

Voices of "It's still hot!" and "Isn't this good enough?" floated around as Randy slowly dipped his feet into the hot spring.
"Aaaaah!"
Everyone exchanged glances at the old man's voice escaping from Randy, and slowly entered the hot spring.
"It's like a potato wash!"
Even though it's a hot spring, they couldn't relax at all.
The crowd was reminiscent of a summer lazy river.
Still, it wasn't so bad, Randy smiled as he looked up, the starry sky gazing down at everyone.
"Is it getting a bit lukewarm?"
"Someone add more hot water!"
"It's hot, over here, hot!"
Hearing laughter from various places, Randy pushed through the crowd and arrived at the closest edge to the women's bath.
He exchanged glances with Liz, who peeked from the opposite edge, and they both smiled at each other.
"Well, that was good for a rehearsal, right?"
"Yes. Having so much fun is fine too."
Their laughter rose with the white steam into the starry sky.

An overnight stay, first checking the water quality in the morning, adjusting the temperature, construction of washing areas, and plumbing.
