As Randy shakes his head, Julius smiles and says, "Don't be so modest."
"I'm truly convinced now──the rumors that you can go toe-to-toe with [Silver Peak] are real."
"Well, we've been *open with each other*."
Randy leans forward too, showing a sly grin.
To be honest, he has no obligation to respond, nor any interest.
But he does appreciate Julius's effort to make the best of this strict surveillance.
Instead of giving up because the situation is bad, he's thinking about what he can do within it.
Randy doesn't dislike that type of person.
In fact, that's how they've lived and continue to live.
(But getting people into trouble is... Ah, I see.)
For a short while, Julius didn't seem like the type to drag others into his problems.
Yet, he acted recklessly, even involving Randy.
And though he claimed to have abandoned it, the first name he gave was his full name from his time in the Imperial family.

Julius, left alone in the room, stared at the door Randy had disappeared through for a while.
"Acquaintances... huh."
As Julius muttered to himself, one of the guards spoke up.
"Your Highness Julius. I'll report today's events to His Highness Leonius."
Julius shook his head at that.
"Do as you like. But in return, I'll do as I please too."
The unexpected statement made all 4 guards gasp in surprise.
"W-what are you saying, Your Highness? Acting on your own would go against His Highness Leonius's──"
"His Highness Leonius again, huh? Why should I, who left the Imperial family to join the Church, follow the wishes of my older brother? And not even Crown Prince Ragnar, but the second prince, Leonius?"
Julius's intense aura left the 4 guards speechless, muttering, "That's..."
"That's why I'll do as I please."
Julius didn't back down an inch, and the guards exchanged troubled glances.
