Volume 3 Chapter 8 Easy Infiltration with the Power of Gods
To save the villagers taken by the majin, I head towards their temporary base, the corpse.
Thanks to the villagers guiding me along the way, I arrived without getting lost.
I observe the cave from the thicket in the forest.
It's a cave formed on the mountainside.
There are no shadows of guards at the entrance.
"Thank you for the guidance. I'll take it from here, so head back to the village."
"B-but Sir Zeke, are you sure you can handle this alone? Even if it's temporary, it's their base, and we don't know what might be inside."
"I appreciate your concern, but I'll be fine."
I activate one of the powers of [Over Ruler], [Eye of Divine Magic].
"Sir Zeke's right eye suddenly starts to shine... what is happening?"
"I can remotely observe the situation inside from here."
"I-I can't believe you can do that... amazing, just too amazing!"
I had been able to do something similar before.
But it was only a vague understanding of the overall situation.
With this Eye of Divine Magic, I can obtain a clear image of the internal structure.
"I've grasped the positions of the enemies and the locations of the captured people. Now, all that's left..."
I close my eyes and concentrate.
'I am Zeke. I've come to help you. When I give the signal, please close your eyes.'
"A voice directly in my head... what is this?"
The villagers look around in surprise.
"It's the effect of Eye of Divine Magic. I can send Telepathy to specific individuals captured in my sight."
"W-what a thing... this is like something out of a god's playbook! It's just too amazing!"
I don't know how much they will believe me.
Well, even if they do, it won't be enough to blind them.
"Alright, let's go."
I stand at the entrance of the majin's cave.
After sending the signal, I activated the right arm of the divine and demon.
A tremendous light fills the cave.
The holy power spreads in an instant, illuminating the cave where the majin dwell.
"Alright, extermination complete."
"S-Sir Zeke... what was that just now?"
"It's holy light that acts as poison to those demonic beings. I believe I've nearly wiped out the majin inside."
Currently, corpses were lying in ambush near the entrance, while most of the majin along the way had disappeared.
I will free the villagers who were captured.
"Thank you! Sir Zeke!" "Thank you very much!"
I instruct the accompanying villagers to take these people back.
"What is Sir Zeke going to do?"
"Apparently, the villagers and a strong majin are waiting in the depths. I'll deal with it."
