A month was about to pass since the commotion in the hidden dungeon.
One day, I was visiting the desert area with Chippy.
"Lord Zeke, are you really okay alone? The opponent is the ancient dragon Behemoth, you know?"
Cecily and the other S-rank adventurers looked at me with concern.
This quest is to hunt the ancient dragon appearing in the desert area.
Of course, I have no intention of killing it.
"It's fine. Stay back because it's dangerous."
The Behemoth's strength is SS rank.
Normally, ancient dragons are monsters that require multiple parties to defeat.
That's why Cecily and the others are here, but this time they will hold back.
"Ms. Cecily, is it really okay? That person is alone."
The leader of a different party, who teamed up for the first time this time, asked anxiously.

I walked alone in the desert.
Suddenly, the ground rose, and a gigantic dragon appeared, towering over me.
Its entire body was covered in rocky armor, and its size rivaled a mountain.
This is the ancient dragon Behemoth.

Chippy was waiting near them just in case.
Even now, the shock and dust from Behemoth's appearance were being blocked by a wind barrier.
"It seems to be rampaging. Is there some reason?"
I looked up at Behemoth and said.
The Curse of the Ancestor has been lifted, so it shouldn't attack people.
With a growl, Behemoth opened its mouth and brought its face closer to me.
"Ah, dangerous! You're going to be eaten!"
At that moment, the adventurers closed their eyes.
'Actually, my tooth hurts.'
Stopping right in front of me, Behemoth said that.
"I see, can you show me inside a bit?"
'Please take care of me.'
With a heave, I entered Behemoth's mouth to examine it.
"It's a cavity."
'Can't we do something about this?'
"Leave it to me."
Using Hand of God, I healed the part that had cavities.
With a gentle touch, I emerged from Behemoth's mouth.
'Oh! This is amazing! I feel so much better! Thank you!'
"Aren't you just eating too many sweets?"
'There's a sugarcane field nearby.'
After giving a few words, the Behemoth hung its head, surprisingly obedient.
"I-I can't believe it... an ancient dragon listens to a person's words!"
"Hehe, isn't it amazing? My Zeke is so well-liked by beasts!"
I left Behemoth and went back to my party.
"The talk is over. It seems he was just irritable because of the cavity. He said he won't cause trouble anymore."
The guild has received requests from the residents to stop the damage.
If we know there's no need to hunt, it's fine to not kill.
"Wow! As expected of [Magic Beast's Controller]dono! To be able to command any beast!"
For the past month, whenever there was a request for extermination, I silenced the disturbances through means other than hunting monsters.
As a result, I got a strange nickname.
'Doctor, Doctor!'
"Hmm? What's wrong?"
As I slowly brought my face closer, Behemoth said.
'It's troublesome to have you come again. Can I stay at your place for a bit?'
"That's fine."
Alright, alright, I gently stroked Behemoth's face.
"W-What about this dragon?"
"It says it wants to join the team."
"Oh! To have an ancient dragon as a subordinate! Amazing! As expected of the Magic Beast's Controller!"
After that, I returned to the guild and explained the situation.
Since it had joined the team, the request was considered fulfilled.
"In just one month, so many monsters have become allies. you're already famous──I'm so proud! As expected of my Zeke!"
