"By the way, what's the deal with you two?"
"Kisaragi? Oh, she's our tech wizard. Collaborates with us on all the fancy gear and potions."
"Tech wizard?"
"Yeah. Right now, every single potion, weapon, and magic tool in this world? Partnered with Amamiya Value Technology."
Kisaragi-san smirked, practically glowing with self-satisfaction.
"Heh. That's right."
"Wait, hold on. Monsters in dungeons are tough, sure, but aren't modern weapons still, y'know... weapons?"
Kisaragi waved a hand dismissively. "Oh, sure, they work—up to the Upper Floors."
"Huh?! You're telling me real-life guns don't work past a certain level?!"
"For example, that 'Goblin Knight' you just fought? Bullets barely scratch those guys."
"WHAT?! That's a tanky goblin!"
"You'd be surprised. Back when dungeon exploration first started, Seekers went in blind, no proper gear. The casualty rate was... well, let's just say nobody was buying round-trip tickets."
"That bad, huh..."
I could already picture the headlines: *'Brave Dungeon Explorer Enters! Immediately Regrets It!'*
"The issue wasn't just Japan, either. Globally, dungeon progress was slow. Enter Amamiya Value Technology."
I blinked. "...Wait, isn't that the company behind 'AMAMIYA SYSTEM'?"
"Ding ding ding! That's our main product—an electronic currency payment system. You use it, right?"
"Yeah, of course."
"Well, turns out running the world's money gives you a lot of spare cash. So we thought, 'Hey, why not pivot into dungeon gear?'"
That tracked. Most of the world ran on AMAMIYA SYSTEM now—no fees, instant transactions, and a universal currency called 'AMA Money.' It had basically wiped out old-school credit cards and half the cryptos overnight.
So... if a company with that kind of profit margin went all in on dungeon tech...
"Wait, does that mean most of the gear on the market right now...?"
Kisaragi practically preened. "Bingo. We own 70% of the global market."
"Seventy—?!"

"Okay, but how did you make dungeon gear? I mean, if modern weapons didn't work, how'd you crack the code?"
"Ah, that's where Sakurako comes in."
"Hmm?"
Sakurako-chan, who'd been quietly sipping tea like some smug mastermind, finally spoke up.
"In simple terms... I brought over some cheat codes from my old world."
"Excuse me?"
"Earth's got a ton of magic power, but the dungeons are pretty much identical to the ones from my world. So, I gave Amamiya Value Tech a little know-how. Specifically—how to use 'magic stones' from dungeons to make potions and gear."
"Magic stones..."
"Yep! You already know how they worked in my old world, right?"
"Yeah... potions, buffs, weapons, armor—everything was made with them."
"Exactly! So, by combining magic stones and Earth's minerals with... science—"
"Alchemy."
"Whatever. We figured out how to mass-produce potions and other dungeon goodies."
I nodded slowly, gears turning.
"So all these 'Dungeon Seeker products' basically exist because of Sakurako-chan's otherworldly knowledge?"
"That, and a genius named Kisaragi Kanna."
"Ahem!"
Kisaragi-san puffed up, hands on her hips, practically radiating smugness.
"Yes, yes, shower me with praise. I am amazing."
I sighed.
Kisaragi-senpai, you're way too proud of yourself.
"But yeah," she continued, "right now, Japan is the only country producing 'Dungeon Seeker gear.' In other words..."
She flashed a grin.
"Amamiya Value Technology has a monopoly."
"...I feel like I just learned way too much in one sitting."
