The beautiful girl I saved in that car accident that triggered my transportation to another world... Amamiya Rie, or Rie-tan, turned out to be the daughter of the CEO of 'Amamiya Value Technology.'
I don't know the details, but one thing I'm sure of is that it's the company that created the 'AMAMIYA SYSTEM,' the foundation of all current electronic payment services.
Also, it's one of the few global giants in Japan that can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the world's largest corporations.
"W-wait, seriously?"
"Y-yes. It's true."
Whoa, whoa, whoa, this isn't just some rich family we're talking about here.
"Anyway, to get back to the point, my father's company's 'Development Division' analyzed the live stream footage of the D-Streamer Omega. And after reviewing it, they confirmed that the footage was 100% real."
"I-I see......"
Well, if the engineers from the company that created the 'AMAMIYA SYSTEM' say so, there's no doubt about it.
"So, Sagawa believed Rie-tan's words right away, huh?"
"That's right."

Knowing Rie-tan's background.
"Takeru-kun......"
"Wha!?"
Suddenly, Rie-tan leaned in close and cupped her hand near my ear.

With that, Rie-tan returned to her original position and bowed deeply.
I thought about trying to brush it off for a moment, but I figured Rie-tan probably wouldn't fall for that, so I honestly told her I'd recently become an F-Class Seeker.
"So it's true after all. I'm so happy!"
"Happy?"
"Yes. Because if you're a Seeker, even someone like me might be able to help a little. Actually, I'd love to go into a dungeon with you!"
Rie-tan said this with a bright, beaming smile.
Cute.
"I'm glad you feel that way, but Rie-tan, we're in completely different leagues. Plus, I just registered the day before yesterday, on Saturday..."
"The day before yesterday... Saturday?"
"Yeah. So I'm still just a newbie Seeker. I'd probably just get in your way. I'm happy you'd want to team up, but it'd be tough, haha."
I tried to laugh it off casually.
But,
"N-no, it's fine! You wouldn't be in the way at all! And if I'm with you, it'll be easier for Takeru-kun to level up! What do you think?!"
Rie-tan was really pushing it.
"W-well, maybe next time, could I ask for your help?"
"Y-yes!"
Just then, our homeroom teacher, Fuka-sensei, entered the classroom, and Rie-tan stood up at that moment.
"Takeru-kun, let's talk more about that later, okay?"
With that, she dropped another bombshell and left.
Of course, right after,
"""""Takeru-kun? What's this 'talk' you're having? Spill the details after homeroom..."""""
"...Sure."
And so, right after homeroom ended and just before first period started, I was relentlessly interrogated by Amamiya's Elite Guards. Needless to say...

"R-really, Takeru-kun became an F-Class Seeker...?"
......Lunch break.
I was, as usual, eating lunch alone on the rooftop.
The rooftop is always locked and inaccessible, but I asked my dad to pull some strings and got the school principal to make a special rooftop key just for me.
Of course, this isn't something you're normally supposed to do.
But I've always found school boring, and I never even tried to make friends.
After all, I wanted to focus solely on being a Seeker right away, but my parents wouldn't allow it.
To prove to my parents that I could make it as a Seeker, I enrolled in the Seeker Training Course right after starting high school.
In 3 months, I reached Level 2 and obtained my F-Class Seeker license. Then, just one month later, I advanced to E-Class, and this April, as I moved up to my second year, I climbed all the way to D-Class Seeker.
I thought this would prove to my parents that I could succeed as a Seeker, but they still wouldn't let me focus solely on it──they didn't even let me drop out of school.
So, as a compromise, I asked for "a rooftop key just for me."
At first, I hoped they'd say something like, "If you're going to be this selfish, just quit school and do whatever you want as a Seeker!" But instead, they casually agreed, saying, "Sure, that's no problem at all," and got the key made for me.
I didn't expect my dad to give in so easily, so my "selfish plan" failed. But since I'm always being watched at school as "Amamiya's daughter" or the "D-Class Seeker," having a place where I can be alone isn't so bad.
As I ate lunch alone on the rooftop, I found myself grappling with a certain question that had been bothering me since this morning──no, more specifically, since I talked to Takeru-kun earlier.
It was about the information on the D-Streamer Omega that I discovered while analyzing broadcast footage in my dad's company's development lab last Saturday. It was a suspicion that arose from something I casually said at the time...
"W-wait, is that D-Streamer Omega really... Takeru-kun?"
The suspicion was that D-Streamer Omega and Yuki Takeru are the same person.
