Volume 1 Chapter 25 Prime Minister, Caught in the Chaos of the Castle
Zeke woke up his miraculous power, meanwhile.
The prime minister left the King and was heading to my office.
"Darn it! It's so cold...!"
Right now, the castle with the King is frozen by the sister, Cino.
All the court mages are working hard to melt the ice, but it's not melting at all.
It must have been hit with really strong magic.
"Lately, I've been having a lot of bad luck...! It's all Zeke's fault! Darn it! That jerk...! Even after he's gone, he makes people unhappy...!"
Zeke hasn't caused any trouble for the prime minister at all, but he was blaming Zeke for everything.
"For now, it's Zeke. If I call him back and make him work hard, everything will be fine. How can I bring him back..."
Hmm, the prime minister thought deeply.
"Oh, I heard that the Elf chief's son is a strong archer who can kill dragons. What if I use him to kidnap the sister Cino and blame him for something he didn't do, then throw him in jail?"
The prime minister smiled wickedly.
"I'll make Zeke work hard in exchange for reducing his sister's time in prison. Hehe...! Isn't that a good idea? Alright!"
The prime minister opened the office door.
He was thinking about writing a letter to the Elf chief, but that was as far as he got.
"Prime Minister! You're finally back! What have you been doing!?"
The ministers came storming in to confront the Prime Minister.
"Why all the fuss? I'm busy. Leave anything but urgent business for later."
"It's all urgent!"
"The castle! There's a big commotion!"
"What's...?"
Ministers dump reports...!
and put it on the desk.
"What!? What's with this pile of documents!?"
"This is a report on all the troubles occurring inside the castle."
"Trouble? Why?"
Thud...!
The Prime Minister looks over the documents.
It seems that the following problem is occurring now.
- The owls, the familiars used for mail, could not withstand the sudden changes in the castle's environment and died.
- The magic beasts that defend the castle couldn't handle the sudden changes and began to go wild.
- The magic beasts that were guarding the city walls suddenly rushed outside all at once.
etc....
"Is this really happening for real!?"
Bang!
The door to the prime minister's room opened.
Thud!
Guards and mages rushed in like a huge flood.
"Prime Minister! The owl is dead, and we can't send mail!"
"The salamander went crazy, and there are dozens of injured people!"
"The magic beasts that were supposed to protect the walls have started breaking them down!"
Seeing their panicking workers, the prime minister finally realized that everything happening on paper was true.
"If that's the case... this is bad! Really bad!"
He has to solve all these huge problems.
And they can't be fixed quickly or easily.
...And the one person who had the way to solve all this trouble and caused it all was the same person.
It was Zeke.
If he was here, all the trouble would be fixed.
Since he is not here, the trouble is happening.
...In other words, it was the fault of the person who kicked Zeke out.
"""Prime Minister! Give me your orders! """
"Ugh, you're so noisyyy! Get out! Get out now! I'll give you instructions later!"
After locking his subordinates out, the Prime Minister sighs.
"No, no more. I need Zeke! I'll have to consult the King!"
The Prime Minister leaves the room and hurries off to the King.
"King! You must bow down to Zeke so he can return, now!"
He reported the panic in the castle, but the king said, "Hmph...!"
and snort.
"No, why should I have to bow down to this bastard?"
"But, now that he's gone, I'm in a big panic! For now it's just a small problem, but this is a spark, and the damage will definitely get bigger! "
"Oh no! So noisy, so noisy, so noisyyy!"
The king kicked the prime minister and spat on him.
"Do something without Zeke!"
"What do I do? What should I do?"
"It's your job to think about that...! Anyway, I won't bow my head to Zeke! It would make it seem like I made a mistake by kicking him out!"
The prime minister is locked out of the room.
"Prime Minister! Give us orders!" "What should we do about the panic in the castle!?"
The prime minister, stuck between a rock and a hard place, holds his head and shouts.
"How did it come to this!?"
