Zeke now has the flying dragons under his control, meanwhile.
In the King's room.
"Finally, I can get the animal handlers ready. It took too long!"
"I'm very sorry. But Your Majesty, these new handlers should be good."
The King looks over the papers in front of him.
"I see, they are nomads. They should be good with animals."
"Yes, and there are enough of them, so they shouldn't give up like last time."

...Well, a beast veterinarian's job can't really be handled by nomads, though.
The King thinks it's okay to have some people on the job, so he ignores this.
Later, he will notice this is a bad idea.
"By the way, about the new [court magician] coming in, is the rumor true?"
"Yes, she is a genius magician who comes around once every ten years, or even a hundred!"
He checks another paper.
"[Cino Vetarinari], already skipped grades at 15 and graduated top of her class from magic university!"
"Moreover, the paper she presented while she was a student was highly praised, and she is said to be a genius whose name will go down in the history of magic."
Kukuku, the king laughs.
"I'm so lucky that such a talented person would be working for our country!"
"That's right, if she's a genius at her level, she'll be in high demand at jobs. And if it's a magic research institute, I'm sure she'll be given super VIP treatment."
"And I can hire her as a court magician for a low salary, haha, I'm so lucky!"
Although she was given the title of palace and crown, she received a flat salary.

Cino approached them with a cold expression.
"What's wrong, Cino? Your job starts next month, right?"
"...Yes, actually, I came to ask for a cancellation."
""What...?""
The kings couldn't believe their ears.
After saying just that, Cino bowed and tried to leave.
"W-wait!"
The prime minister hurriedly tried to grab her hand.
But the moment he touched her, his hand froze.
"Ughhh!"
His hand shattered in an instant, and then returned to normal.
Ice magic and healing magic.
She used both at the same time and so fast without a spell.
"...Please don't touch me casually. Only my brother can touch me."

With a huff, she looked down coldly at the fainting prime minister.
"...I'm talking about the beast veterinarian whom you expelled for an unreasonable reason."
"Vetarinari...Huh? I see! Are you Zeke's sister?!"
Cino sighs softly at the King's words.
"...The reason I decided to take a stupid job as a court mage is because I wanted to work in the same place as him. If he's not here, I have no business here. Goodbye."
"Wait, wait! Hold on! Hold on!"
The king approaches at full speed, tries to grab her by the shoulder, then stops.
He was frightened by the power of the incredible magic that was just shown.
"That's a problem! We've already announced to other countries that Cino is coming in at the meeting the other day!"
When the genius magician entered the palace, the king was about to boast.
"I need you in!"
"...I don't care about your stupid reasons"
A magic circle of teleportation appears at her feet.
Without chanting, she used teleportation magic and disappeared from the spot.
"Oh, no way..."
"Y-Your Majesty...what shall we do...?"
"What can I do? I can't do anything! Ugh! Ugh!"
