(Mercury's POV)
Leaf and the group went to pick up Mimei.
"I'll go with Tai-chan. There's no need for the 3 of us to come along."
With that, Leaf left with Tai-chan (who is transformed into a beast).
Well, it was probably fine since there wasn't much for them to do anyway.
"Now, I guess I'll gather some information about the Hell Inferno Women's Prison..."
Mercury returned to her shop.
"Oh, Mercury!"
"Ughhhhhhhhhhh!"
Mercury fell on her butt and crawled to the wall.
"Grannyyy!?"
Her grandmother, the great witch Merlin, was in her shop.
"Long time no see."
"O-Oh, it's been a while..."
Mercury was not comfortable around Merlin.
When she trained under her years ago, she got beaten up pretty badly.
"Granny... what brings you here all of a sudden? If you had told me, I would have prepared a welcome for you... Would you like some tea?"
The implication was clear: go home, Mercury thought.
"Mercury, I came to tell you something."
"Something to tell me...?"
"Yes, I heard you started dating Leaf-chan?"
Mercury was exasperated by how quickly news spread.
She must have been watching the adorable Leaf from somewhere.
"Yeah, well..."
"That's not good."
"Huh? What do you mean...?"
Merlin's expression was serious.
"It means you don't have the strength to match a wonderful guy like Leaf-chan right now."
"W-What...?"
Please don't compare a monster like that to an ordinary person...
"So, Mercury, I'm going to give you a trial."
"Huh!? A t-trial...?"
"Yes, Mercury. You need to go to Hell Inferno Women's Prison first."
"Wha!? What do you mean by 'first'!? Wait, what!?"
"Go get a little rough with the bad girls there. You need to level up as a woman."
"Huh!? I don't get it..."
Snap! Merlin snapped her fingers.
In an instant, a huge magic circle appeared under Mercury's feet.
"This is a teleportation magic circle!? No way... are you serious!?"
"Yes. Off to Hell Inferno Women's Prison you go. Have fun!"
"NOOOOOO!"
