The new students who entered the dungeon 'Nest of Insect Poison' were not just Elk and his team.

Looking closely, there were severed heads at their feet... the heads of his friends.

In the end, a silly voice escaped.

Leaving Agato and the others' bodies behind, the orange beetle, Muska, moved deeper into the dungeon.

A human-like creature named Felice was spreading the scales in a room of the dungeon.

Killing them was easy.
But she didn't kill them. She was making them suffer.
Dark tears flowed. The liquid inside them was changing, turning black.
"Ah. You can't die yet~~~... I still want to play!"
Skills beyond skills, a 'cheat skill' gave birth to a self.
Felice was enjoying 'life.'
"I'll play a lot, a looooot!"
The innocent and cruel girl, like a 'moth,' spread her powder and headed to the next room.

A creature like a pill bug. A pill bug that looks like a person.
The pill bug humanoid, Dantalion, was eating adventurers.
He had a strange body. Where a human's chest would be, many hands sprouted. They looked like arms, but more like antennae of a pill bug.
With those, he restrained humans and devoured them alive.
"Meat, meat... so good!"
Dantalion was overjoyed with his first meal.
Munch, munch, munch, he kept eating meat.
──I want to eat more. I want to eat more.
Thinking that, he spat out a bone and stood up.
"Meat, meat... meat!"
Seeking meat, Dantalion walked through the dungeon.

"Alright, everyone, are you ready?"
"Yes!" "Yup!" "Sure!"
Fine, Gambo, and the 3 teammates.
Gambo's team arrived at the 'Nest of Insect Poison' a bit later than Elk's team.
Leading Gambo's group was a woman swordsman in her mid-forties, with a sword at her waist. She was bigger and taller than Gambo.
Her name was Karena. She was an A-rank adventurer.
"Oh, Karena. You're here too?"
"Yeah. Here, check this."
Karena handed her adventurer plate to the receptionist of the dungeon.
The receptionist checked the plate and handed it back to Karena.
"Hey, Bob came here earlier, you know? I mean, is this really where the new training is? Starting off in a bug-themed place, the academy has really changed things up."
"Haha. Well, times have changed, I guess."
"Yeah. So, be careful, okay?"
"Yeah."
Karena says again at the entrance of the dungeon.
"From here on, it's the dungeon. Listen carefully to what I say, okay? You can come back to life if you die, but if you don't have money, you won't be revived. We adventurers are responsible for ourselves. Don't forget that all the responsibility is on you."
You can come back to life if you die.
Revival skills. Revival magic.

And many revival skills and magic have a common rule: 'only if you die inside the dungeon.' The one who has a skill that doesn't follow that rule is Nightingale, and that's why she's counted among the 'Five Stars.'

Yato stepped into the dungeon and felt it.
"...It really feels gross."
It was intuition.
A bad presence. A bad feeling. A bad vibe.
All of these mixed together and hit Yato.

"Ms. Yato, are you really okay?"
"Yeah. I'm fine."
Inside the 'Nest of Insect Poison,' she sensed the powerful 'Insect People' rampaging... Yato was keenly aware of it.
