Volume 2 Chapter 1 Galatine Royal Academy
Galatinne Kingdom, Capital City Gallahad.
Elk and Emma arrived, swaying in the carriage.
It was far to the west from their hometown, the Deo Kingdom, the largest kingdom on the continent.
Leaning out of the carriage, Elk looked at the capital and said.
"This is Galatinne Kingdom ... and here is the Galatine Royal Academy."
And then, there was Duke Kinesis's legitimate son and brother, Rosho. His sister, Sarissa, too.
Elk remembered the Duke family that had set him up.
"......"
"Mr. Elk?"
"Oh, no... it's nothing. Um, we can already enter the dormitory, right?"
"Yes. The entrance ceremony is tomorrow, and your uniforms and textbooks should be in your room."
"Alright. Then, let's head to the dormitory."

The carriage moved slowly.
They passed through the huge main gate of Galatinne Kingdom and into the town.
The wide streets were lined with houses and shops. It was much busier than in the Deo Kingdom.

"Emma, is this your first time in a place like this?"

Emma also opened the window and looked around the town.
She noticed there were many carriages, but it seemed everyone was heading to the same place.
They weren't going to the Galatine Royal Castle, where the king of this country lived... but instead, they were heading to a huge building far from the castle. The Galatine Royal Academy.
The carriage arrived in front of the academy's main gate. Elk and Emma got out and thanked the coachman.
Carrying their luggage, they looked up at the academy's main gate.
"It's amazing, Emma..."
"Y-yes. Um... are we really going to this academy?"
"Ahaha. You got your admission certificate, right?"

The boy laughs loudly and puts his hand on his chest.
"I'm Nickes. I'm the son of a merchant family in the capital. This is my sister, Merry."
"Nice to meet you. I'm Merry. Our parents run Merchant Guild Senegal guild in the capital."
"Oh, I see. I'm Elk, and this is Emma. Nice to meet you."
"Yeah, nice to meet you too."
As a maid of the Duke Kinesis family, Emma has been taught proper manners.
However, she is overwhelmed by the atmosphere of the huge capital and the academy, so she couldn't greet them properly.
Nickes doesn't seem to mind and says to Elk.
"Just call me Nickes. I'll call you Elk too. By the way, which one are you two?"
"...Which one?"

Merry looked embarrassed.
But Nickes didn't stop.

"Yeah. 'Lightning Magic' and 'Sword Technique.' Well, both are low level, though. Haha!?"

Merry turned her head away.

Nickus and Merry froze, and Emma didn't miss it.
After all, Telekinesis is seen as a "useless skill"... that's the perception.

Also, the noble students have a special dorm.
Elk is in the regular commoner dorm. Nickes got a slightly nicer room.

It was empty. He could use it freely.

The moment Elk pointed his right hand, the locker crumpled and twisted with a crunching sound.
Like crumpling a piece of paper with both hands. The metal locker bent under Elk's telekinesis, shrinking down to a small ball that he could hold in his palm.
Playing with the ball that used to be a locker, Elk muttered.
"Just watch me..."
Learning at the academy is important, but... getting revenge on the Duke family is just as important.
