──At Ryougen-kun's Mansion──
"I see. The reason Gen-dono continued as a traveling doctor was for your daughter."
"Yes. Your Royal Highness the King's younger brother."
This is Ryougen-kun's mansion.
In the guest room, Ryougen-kun, his aide Tanshi, and the traveling doctor Gen Shuuyoku were talking.
"Yes. I became a doctor to heal my daughter Touri's wounds."
"You were originally a martial artist skilled in Pressure Point Technique, right?"

Gen Shuuyoku said as she knelt and touched her forehead to the floor.
"I would like to stay in this country until I fulfill my promise with Kou Tenhou."
"Will you not become my guest?"
"In return, my daughter Touri will be of service to Your Royal Highness the King's younger brother."
"Gen Touri? But isn't she still too young?"
"That child is a genius."
"A genius?"
"Master Gyoun said, 'This child has the strength to survive even the techniques of the Four Fiends. If this child lives long and can use that talent, history might change'."
"...Really?"
"You might not believe it. But it's the truth."
"Does your daughter know about this?"
"I haven't told her."
Gen Shuuyoku shook her head.
"I want that child to grow up naturally, without pressure. She doesn't need to know about the techniques that hurt her. That is a fate I must end myself."
"So, the reason you can't be a guest is──."
"I intend to go on a journey to defeat the enemy who harmed my daughter."
Gen Shuuyoku declared.
"I cannot leave dangerous martial artists unchecked. I want to do my best as a martial artist, Gen Shuuyoku, to protect the peace of my daughter, Kou Tenhou, and everyone living in the country. Until then, I plan to be of service in Aika Country."
Saying this, Gen Shuuyoku again bowed her forehead to the floor.
