Chapter 229 Naked
After finishing breakfast, Alicia and Aaron left the house.
They were heading to the riverbank near the village. There was a big rock by the river, and it was deep enough to jump into, making it a summer playground for the kids of Kalts Village.
However, since it was a little past the season, there probably wouldn't be any kids playing in the river now. Still, today might be the last chance for Alicia and Aaron to go to that river. The water might be a bit cold, but Aaron followed Alicia without complaining.
Kalts Village had houses packed in the center, surrounded by vast fields.
As they walked through the narrow paths of the fields and further out of the village, they came to a small hill.
Because it looked like a turtle poking its head out of its shell, the hill was called "Turtle Hill."
Yes, it was the site of the famous battle, "The Battle of Turtle Hill."
When they reached the top, they could see the entire village, including the fields. For Aaron, who saw this view often, it was boring, but travelers sometimes called this scenery breathtaking.
The two stopped at the top of the hill, and without showing any interest in the beautiful view, they went down the opposite side.
On the other side of the hill, a dense forest spread out.
After going down the hill and entering the forest, they walked for about 5 minutes on a path made by children, until they reached a river flowing through the woods.
On the rocky riverbank, there was one rock that was taller than an adult.
"――I knew it, no one is here."
Alicia murmured as she looked around the riverbank. There was no one else there besides the two of them.
After confirming that, Alicia quickly took off her clothes and underwear, becoming n*ked.

Aaron had forgotten that he used to play in the river with his underwear on every summer. But now, he was enjoying the feeling of being naked outside.

The two of them got out of the river, put on their clothes, gathered firewood, and Alicia used a fire-starting magic tool she had brought from home to start a fire.
For a while, they warmed themselves by the campfire.

"Hey, Aaron. I'm going to show you something amazing."
"Amazing...? What is it?"
With a proud smile, Alicia lifted up the 'Holy Sword Brynhildr' that she had also brought.
Then, she drew the sword from its sheath, crouched down, and in the next moment, she swung the sword quickly in a horizontal slash.

The sword cut through the air, leaving a pale blue aura as a trail.
It was indeed a beautiful sight, but Aaron's reaction was flat.

Saying that, Alicia readied her sword again. Then, just like before, she swung the sword in a horizontal slash once more.
