A few seconds after Ice protected Rollo, for some reason, Ice wasn't attacked by the clowns.
"..., ...?"
She looks back. And then, she sees the numerous clowns that had been crushed on the ground.
"...Wade, kun...?"
"Ice-sama, you're so cold~."
"Ah, sorry about that... But this is..."
Ice thinks for a bit and then understands.
"Wade-kun!"
"Ice――――! Are you there――――! ."
I hear Wade's voice from a short distance away. Ice takes a deep breath and then shouts, "I'm here――――, I'm here――――...! "
"Hehehe♡ Ice-sama's loud voice is so embarrassing～."
"Rollo-chan, don't tease and respond seriously...!"
"Y-yes! Master～～～! I'm over here～～! ."
As soon as the two of them hear each other's voices, Wade starts running towards them, sweating profusely. When their eyes meet, Wade accelerates even more, and in the blink of an eye, Wade is hugging Ice tightly.
"I'm so relieved...! Ice, you're safe and sound...!"
"U-um.... ...thank you. You came to help me in such a desperate situation."
"It's okay, thanks to Kyrie. ...Ice, aren't you feeling a bit cold? You're as cold as ice."
Ice shudders and hurriedly pushes Wade away.

"Is that so? And is Rollo okay too? Are you not hurt?"

Rollo clings to Wade, and Wade, who seems to have a soft spot for Rollo, receives the hug with a smile, saying, "You're doing great, so it's okay, I guess."

Just then, Kyrie appeared. Ice remembered what Wade had said and lowered his head in gratitude.

Kyrie smiled and looked around. "Don't mention it. We owe Wade one too. Besides, Wade's magic is amazing, right?"
As Kyrie said, all the clowns in sight were defeated, crushed by their own weight. It was clear that they were no match for Wade.
...Clay and Toxy had also defeated the gods and taken their powers.
Ice thought that she was the only one who couldn't hurt Sieg, just like on the ground. But here, too, she was outdone by the other two.
"Guess we can head back now."
Wade said, but Kyrie hesitated.
"Well, not exactly... You see, at midnight, the circus's time-space distortion gets really bad. You can't fly back even if you want to. What should you do?"
Wade looked exasperated. "What can we do, indeed?"
But then he continued,
"The circus's time is connected to how well we understand it, right? So if we forget about it, we should be able to go back."

The air was tense as Wade questioned Kyrie. Kyrie looked back at Wade for a moment before responding.

Kyrie closed one eye, placed their index finger on their lips, and said,
"I'm actually the child of Chiero, the leader of the circus. So, I can ignore the understanding and freely move around in the circus's time ☆."

After that, we all decided to take a temporary retreat.
First, I used my second brain, Sahasrara Chakra, to think of a way to return to the circus's time.
Sahasrara Chakra's ability is 'Rule of All Creation'. If I apply it, making someone forget any information they want is not that difficult.
After we turned back time, we met up with Sandra, Renril again with the help of Klainatzirks' giant Gand and the beast-girl Lillu, and left the circus.

"What do you mean? Do you want to know about how the circus works? Or about my relationship with Papa?"
"Everything. But first, tell me about how the circus works."
"Okay! So, Papa's Domain Control is what makes the circus work. He took me there at midnight and explained it to me."
Kyrie starts explaining in a playful tone.
"The Domain Control rejects people's understanding. The more you know about the weird things in the circus, the more the circus resists your understanding. If you know the path, the path gets distorted. If you know the building, the building gets distorted."
"That's why I couldn't get out."
Sandra says with her usual expressionless face. "I was surprised when I went to rescue you and you destroyed the entire dungeon and came out..." Gand's face looks dead.
"Papa calls it 'Domain Control: Trickster (Playground)'. He controls the circus with this power."
"What about the Demon King's army? Don't they have a base in the tower?"
"No way. Even the Demon King's army is just Papa's servant in the circus. The two towers are even transformed into Papa's clock towers."
I think to myself, "Seriously?" Indeed, the only notable tower in the circus was the clock tower. Maybe I couldn't find the other one because the space was distorted.

"What's the goal? You were trying to learn about the circus. Why did you want to learn about the circus?"

"Our goal is to defeat the Demon King. So, we need to set aside Kyrie's papa-san and take down the tower."

Mudi, Rollo, and the others widen their eyes in surprise at my revelation. I give them a wry smile and say, "Ice, didn't we have something like this happen before?"

"Kyrie's no problem. I can understand why Ice would be cautious, but these guys won't betray us and tell the Demon King's army, no matter what."

"Alright, Wade, if that's what you're after, I'm in. I'll help you out all the way. But in return, I need you guys to help me out too."
"Huh? Leader, are you crazy?" "This is insane! We can't take on the Demon King!" "Shut up, you two!"
Kyrie pushed aside the two people trying to stop them and said:
"Wade, I'll help you take down the tower by helping you beat the Circus's Domain Control. But in return, I want you to help me with... my 'dance and eat'."
When I heard "dance and eat", I narrowed my eyes.
Kyrie just laughed.
"I want to eat Papa and take his place as the leader of the circus. I want to make the circus even bigger and better!"
