Volume 9 Chapter 27 Eik The Great Deer
As I observed Eik with my Ajna Chakra, I thought, "Oh, this guy has a gold grade."
He's not quite at the level of platinum, but that's basically a godly realm. The realm of gods isn't that lenient. There's no one who can reach Arthur, the platinum sword, in their first battle.
But he's stronger than me when I was still trying to become gold. That was clear.

Just as I dodged, his fist crashed into the ground, sending up a cloud of smoke. I quickly retreated, and Eik, a little late, used his arm strength to brush away the smoke.
"You're quite the slippery one, aren't you?."
"It looked like I could take it, but I dodged it. Deer, you're hiding something, aren't you? Bring it out. If you don't, I'll never catch you!"
"...Don't bother. I won't use my trump card on a small fry like you. My pride won't allow it."
I think the lack of magical aura is causing me to be underestimated.
If this were on the surface, I could take him down with ease, but...it seems like everything up until now has been a fluke.

Eik let out a scream as he was crushed into the ground. The horns and I were strongly repelled back up into the air.
As a result, one second. In that one second, I ripped the horn off Eik's head and sent it flying, slamming Eik to the ground.

"Oooh! That's one huge horn. But it's heavier than I thought. Guess I'll just return it."
I flipped over. I weakened the Repulsion and gave myself a full Weight Increase. As I landed on the stone pavement, I used the horn to pierce Eik's body.

"Shut up!"
The scream was so loud that I simply stepped on Eik's simplified head, using [Weight Increase] and Anahata Chakra's physical ability to crush it.
PAN! The sound echoed as Eik's skull shattered, scattering its contents. It was pretty tough, but if I put enough force into it, I could achieve this level of power.
Eik's crushed body lay on the ground, its blood and brains splattered everywhere. I ended up killing it in the heat of the moment... and I regretted it.

Eik said with a triumphant tone. Whatever he was saying, he seemed that he could revive instantly even after dying.
That meant this was good news. After all, I got to see his true power in our rematch. Eik no longer had any reason to hold back against me.
I nodded once, then beckoned it with a smile.
"Then, that's fine. Anyway, now we know each other's strength. Come on, bring it on with all your might. Don't hold back!"

As Eik said this, he gently stroked his horns. But it wasn't like before, when he would stroke them with the palm of his hand. This time, he was tracing them with his fingers, as if he was drawing a line.

What I saw was a massive lake that stretched out as far as the eye could see, surrounded by a wild, snowy landscape of pure white silver.
I looked down at my feet. There was no ground beneath me. The lake just kept spreading out.
I was just sinking into the lake, following the pull of gravity.
