Volume 10 Chapter 4 The Evil God Summoning Procedure
On the night after finishing their inspection of the Slums, Ice and the others gathered in the tavern area of their inn.
This time, Ice was in charge of leading the discussion, with Clay and Toxy assisting, and Philia and Sur providing explanations.
Ice stood up front, waited for the room to quiet down, and then began to speak.
"Okay, let's discuss our plan for this time――the Slums Evil God Summoning Operation..."

Ice started to explain.

In other words, Ice added.

Instead of using Ede Wolf as a decoy, they'll summon an evil god and use it as a decoy. That's the official explanation for this evil god operation.
However, only Ice, Clay, and Toxy know the true purpose behind this plan.
That is, to achieve "god-slaying" through the defeat of the evil god. By accomplishing this, the 3 of them plan to gain even more power.

The demon siblings spoke up in response to Ice's explanation.
"Big brother~, it was explained so casually, but isn't this going to be a huge deal~?"

Wade opened his mouth.
"Ice, this is the best. It's amazing. I wouldn't have thought of it myself. So, we're the ones who are going to summon the evil god? Haha, that's hilarious."
Wade chuckled to himself, baring his canine teeth as he thought about how to fight against the gods and how much chaos they would cause in the slums.
Then, he nodded strongly.
"Let's do it, Ice. Continue with the plan. Let's fill in the details."
"O-oh... okay! So, I'll explain the details in chronological order..."
Ice started explaining the details after getting the go-ahead from the leader, Wade.

The first thing to do in preparation for the operation was to secure someone who knew the procedure for summoning the evil god.
They can't do anything without knowing the procedure. It's only natural to start with that.
That's why I used the second Ajna Chakra to locate the village head's meeting place and brought Ice and Rollo along.
"This is my first time at the circus."
"Yeah, me too... The bazaar was lively, but this is even more lively!"

We had just entered the circus from the bazaar for a few dozen seconds. The area was filled with demons performing street arts.

――the chairman, who had somehow grown 4 legs and was sitting in a chair.

The chairman bowed his head with a somewhat unchanged attitude from before. I nodded while properly entering the tent, "Ah, yeah..."
"Chairman, what's with that?"
"Ah, this? Well, it's sad to say, but as an old man, there's not much I can do in the circus. I consulted with a nearby circus troupe, and they brought me a pair of legs from a corpse and sewed them on."

The chairman gave a gruesome laugh.
"Our demons in the Bael territory have sacrificed themselves countless times to finally succeed in the summoning ritual. I pray that you, master, will successfully fulfill the great purpose of summoning the evil god."
