Chapter 103 Squirming Labyrinth
Separating from Leaf, Demon Lord Vandesdelka and Witch Mercury take different actions.
Sensing something approaching from the depths of the labyrinth, Demon Lord attempts to retreat from the scene using the devil owl Stolas.
However...
"What's that!? What is THAAAAT!"
Demon Lord and Mercury are hold on to the owl's legs.
Despite flying at a considerable speed, the distance between them and what is closing in from the depths of the labyrinth is rapidly decreasing.
In short, it's a wall of flesh.
A gray, squishy textured wall is advancing from the depths of the corridor.
"Let's attack!"
"Right! [Burning Bullet]!"
Mercury takes out her staff and swiftly unleashes advanced fire attribute magic.
Multiple fireballs are shot out, hitting the flesh wall.
However, instead of exploding, they are absorbed.
"What!? Attacks don't work!?"
"[Gravity Force]!"
This time, the Demon Lord's gravity magic is activated.
A force field is generated, attempting to crush the flesh wall, but the gravity force field quickly dissipates.
Sweat drips down the backs of the two skilled in magic.
Both of their magics were quite powerful. However, that flesh wall absorbed both of them effortlessly.
If magic can be easily absorbed, then humans are just as easy...
What will happen after being taken into that wall? Will they be digested, or will they be transferred to another place? It's unknown.
The fear of not knowing anything grows larger as the wall approaches.
The Demon Lord tries to summon a devil, but there is not enough blood.
Summoning a devil requires a considerable amount of blood.
Stolas desperately tries to keep the master away from the enemy. However...
The wall was closing in on them. And then, it swallowed the two of them whole.
