Volume 2 Chapter 41 Don't Get Killed By The Bait!
When asked about the size of the Earth Dragon, I answered like this.
It's about the size of a single-family house.

It was a creature that seemed like a mix between a turtle and a rhinoceros.
A sturdy body like a turtle shell, legs and horns with the charging power of a rhinoceros, and a body about the size of a single-family house.
We grimaced and quickly hid in the nearby bushes.
The Earth Dragon seemed not to notice us. Its gaze wasn't directed towards us.
However, the Earth Dragon was hungry.
"Grrrr..."
The Earth Dragon lowered its head, resembling the mix of a turtle and a rhinoceros, sniffing the ground. It seemed to be searching for food in the surroundings.
Then, it reacted.
It was the spot where we had been standing just a moment ago.
"..."
The Earth Dragon stared intently at our bushes. Motionless.
This is bad.
"Toxy, get ready to jump once."
"Huh?"
I grabbed Toxy and chanted,
"Point Shift."
We fell into the air.
"AAAAHHHH!"
As we soared into the sky, the gaze of the earth dragon followed us. However, due to its body structure, it seemed it couldn't follow us beyond a certain height. It quickly lost sight of us and looked around.
On the other hand, we stopped precisely at a point in midair that I designated as the center of gravity.
"I... I thought I was going to die. Being sucked into the sky, falling endlessly..."
"Shall we do it?"
"Stop it, that joke is too scary."
I was lightly scolded. My bad.
For now, our safety was secured. But figuring out how to defeat it from here was quite challenging.

Pushing [Weight Increase] to the limit, I swung my iron lump sword at the earth dragon.
"What!? You're going to defeat the earth dragon!? Feed it to the wyvern!?"
Toxy shouted from a distance, but it was already too late.
The scenery rushes by. The ground looms closer. If I mistime using [Weight Reduce] even slightly, the gravity that could kill me is bearing down on me. But the effect is tremendous. The iron lump sword has the power to easily crush a wyvern.
However, when I swung the iron lump sword, it only left a crack in the earth dragon's shell, deflecting the blow.
"No way!"
I immediately adjust [Weight Reduce] and land gracefully. The earth dragon notices me and changes direction to face me again.
Then, it charges. I fall back into the air and dodge once more.
With the force of a dump truck or even greater, the earth dragon plows through all the trees in its path. A path is left behind where it has passed.
"This is bad... With this attack power and defense, it's no wonder they call it the ruler of this area."
The fact that the [Weight Increase] of the iron lump sword cannot broke it is beyond normal. Moreover, it's not just about surpassing human mobility, but getting hit by a charge means instant death. An enemy that have the qualification to face gravity, lightning, or wind.
I returned to the ground and raised my sword again. The earth dragon changed direction and once again focused on me.
Staring at each other. The earth dragon must have recognized that I am not an enemy that can be easily defeated. We both take deep breaths.
"Think."
I tell myself.
"If I fight normally, I can't win against this enemy. Even if I try to force my way through, I'll have to repeatedly strike the iron lump sword against its shell. That would delay the Wyvern capture team. Rejected."
The earth dragon twitches slightly. It's getting impatient. Normally, this would be the timing to make a move.
I carefully consider the possibilities.
"The target is the neck of the Earth Dragon. It's worth a shot. However, there are major uncertainties. I can't afford to get injured in a place like this. In this battle, I won't go all out. But that won't be enough power.
The word 'power' is bothering me.
"The reason my full [Weight Increase] didn't work is because it was based on the weight of me and the iron lump sword. In that case—"
At that moment, the Earth Dragon started running.
Was it unable to bear the staring contest? Or did it see an opportunity in my change?
I faced the Earth Dragon head-on and then hid my hand behind me.
The tingling of the magic seal on my right hand was the answer.
"Object - Point Shift"
The Earth Dragon's massive body began to fall towards the sky.
"!? GRRRR! GRRRRRRRRAAAAAA!"
The earth dragon thrashed about in an unfamiliar sense of weightlessness it had never experienced before. However, I wasn't forcibly lifting it with my magic. I simply changed the direction it was falling.
So, right beneath the shadow of the earth dragon, I thrust my iron lump sword. The hilt into the ground, the blade towards the sky.
After stepping back, I spoke to the earth dragon.
"Sorry, but I'm in a bit of a hurry this time, so I can't play with you."
I shrugged my shoulders, feeling apologetic as I said.
"Well then, please die. Object Point Shift. Object Weight Increase."
The earth dragon, affected by [Weight Increase], fell from directly above my iron lump sword I had set up. Due to its massive size, it couldn't evade by grabbing onto a tree or anything, it just struggled as it fell and was pierced through.
Its shell shattered. The earth dragon writhed, then breathed its last breath.
